Location & Pitch
The Naturresort Romantik Camping am Fernsteinsee, located on the south side of the Fernpass, is just a few minutes' walk from the picturesque Fernsteinsee. The campsite offers pitches in three categories - Standard, Comfort and Luxury - each surrounded by shrubs or trees and ranging in size from 60 to 120 m².
This layout ensures a pleasant stay in a natural environment.
Sanitary facilities
The spacious and modern sanitary facilities at Romantik Camping Schloss Fernsteinsee include 16 single wash cubicles, 12 shower cubicles, one cubicle for the disabled and a baby changing room. There is also a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers.
Relaxation is provided by the sauna (for a fee) and the lounge with TV. These facilities contribute to a cosy camping stay.
Catering
The self-service restaurant 400 metres from the campsite offers freshly prepared meals, its own patisserie with Austrian pastries and Italian ice cream specialities.
Freshly baked bread rolls are served in the morning and the oven-fresh pizzas taste even better on the sunny campsite terrace. This culinary offering combines traditional Austrian delicacies with Mediterranean flavours and enhances your camping experience.
Leisure time
The Fernsteinsee nature resort is an ideal starting point for moderately difficult hiking and cycling trails, including the famous Adlerweg and the Via Claudia Augusta. The family-friendly lake hike, which is also accessible with dogs, leads through a natural jewel with idyllic resting places.
