Location & Pitch
The family-run campsite in Grän, in the beautiful Tannheimer Valley, lies at an altitude of 1150 metres and is known as the "first green site in the valley".
Thanks to its location, the campsite regularly offers at least eight hours of sunshine. Visitors have direct access to cycling and hiking trails as well as cross-country ski runs. A free ski and hiking bus and summer mountain lifts are included.
The 80-100 square metre pitches are comfortably equipped and suitable for various types of accommodation such as caravans, motorhomes, buses or tents.
Sanitary facilities
Experience comfort with three modern, excellently equipped sanitary buildings, which offer individual wash cubicles and a barrier-free family bathroom with baby bath in the main building.
Relax in the marvellous panoramic indoor pool and in the wellness area with sauna, steam bath, Kneipp facility and relaxation room. A private infrared cabin is also available. For children there is a paradise with a climbing wall, and teenagers can have fun in the youth room with T-wall and table football. Drying rooms, dishwashing areas, a ski shed and new, rentable private bathrooms round off the offer.
Catering
The cosy restaurant "Zum AchtalWirt" right next to the campsite offers a variety of dishes to suit every taste. Every day, except Mondays, the menu ranges from schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn to Kässpatzen and pizza to satisfy any hungry stomach.
The mini-shop also offers fresh bread rolls from the local bakery from Monday to Saturday, with a bread roll service also available on Sundays. For larger purchases, there is a supermarket just 2 km away.
Leisure time
The Tannheimer Tal offers a varied infrastructure that will make your holiday a real experience. Conquer peaks and huts, discover crystal-clear mountain lakes and enjoy walks, bike tours or cross-country skiing throughout the valley. Use the mountain railways for fascinating views.
There is plenty to discover for every age group in summer and winter: well-developed cycle paths, perfectly groomed winter hiking trails, first-class cross-country ski trails, the Haldensee natural lake with heated lido (admission included), the Vilsalpsee nature reserve, bike trails, Mühlwald trails in Zöblen, themed hiking trails, a bouldering hall and an indoor play hall.
